Equistone’s UK origination function identified the opportunity to acquire Acuity Knowledge Partners when it was being sold as a division of Moody’s. The asset was not otherwise being widely marketed outside of the US, despite the management team being based in the UK and India. Equistone saw the potential in the business and moved quickly to understand the risks of the carve-out and to secure the asset.

Following Acuity’s decisive action during the pandemic, there are now exciting opportunities for the business, given a structural change in attitudes towards working-at-home while maintaining productivity.

The business continues to grow strongly and has demonstrated resilience and flexibility.
