In April 2023, Equistone completed the exit of its majority stake in Acuity Analytics (formerly Acuity Knowledge Partners) to funds advised by Permira. Equistone reinvested in a minority position and remains involved through board representation as part of the transaction.

Acuity Analytics provides research, analytics, AI, data and digital services to more than 800 organisations worldwide, including banks, asset managers, private equity firms, insurers and corporates.

Its global team of analysts, industry specialists, engineers, and data scientists works as an extension of client teams through its far shore, nearshore and onshore model, delivering service excellence, supporting front-, middle- and back-office functions.

Acuity operates across the UK, EU, USA, India, Sri Lanka, Costa Rica, China and Dubai, delivering scalable, 24/7 support for complex, data-driven processes ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service, no matter where they are located.

VALUE CREATION

Equistone has worked alongside the management team to support initiatives, which have included:

• Establishing Acuity Analytics as an independent business and brand, focused on leading the financial services KPO market, following the carve out.
• Establishing the business as an M&A platform through the acquisition of Cians Analytics in September 2022.
• Supplementing the team, with the appointment of an industry-experienced chairman and strategy director.
• Supporting significant investment in technology and sales & marketing roles, which delivered operational efficiencies, improved customer loyalty and allowed significant penetration of white space.
• Acuity Analytic's core proposition has been supported by new service offerings such as data science and ESG.
