Femcare-Nikomed

Femcare-Nikomed is an internationally renowned, IPR led, healthcare group and the trading vehicle for the worldwide marketing and distribution of the 'Filshie Clip', the Western world's leading female sterilisation device.

The group also operates as a UK-focused medical distribution business specialising in the general surgery and gynaecology sectors.

Femcare-Nikomed sells the Filshie Clip through a range of international distributors, of which it owns the UK and Australian networks.

THE EXIT

Femcare-Nikomed was acquired by Utah Medical Products, a NASDAQ listed supplier of speciality medical products, for £25m.  This resulted in a return of 2x capital.
